WW-II Hamilton 4992B USAAC USAAF Master Navigator's GCT Watch Beautiful Piece

  

Here is one of the nicest, cleanest Hamilton 4992B USAAC/USAAF Master Navigator's Master I have seen. It in truly beautiful condition. I replaced the crystal because it had yellowed with age but the rest of the watch is 100% original.

The dial and case are also in womderful condition. The engraving on the back cover is clear and there is no brassing of the case. There are two very minor scuffs in the back. Company records show this number was made in 1942 or, more likely, early in 1943.

It is definitely WW-2 production. This watch runs strongly and keeps good time. Just FYI: GCT stands for Greenwich Civil Time.
