VINTAGE HAMILTON 996 GRADE RR POCKET WATCH 19J with seller's display case & box

  

This is one of the highest quality and most beautifully finished pocket watches that Hamilton ever made! This one is especially rare because it's in a salesman's case that allowed salespeople to show off the watch's movement without removing the case back. I'm also including an original Hamilton display box. All this makes will make it a starring watch in any collection.

This watch winds and runs well, for over 24 hours, though I don't know the service history. There are some scratches on the case from people opening it see pictures---probably with a knife? , but other than that everything is in excellent condition. I think a jeweler could easily polish the scratches out, since they're not that deep.
