Scarce Running Hamilton 970 21 Jewel Adj. 16s Gold Filled Antique Pocket Watch

  

Scarce and very high-grade Hamilton grade 970, 21 jewel adjusted antique pocket watch. Movement is a beautifully finished and highly damaskeened bright movement with gold jewels settings.

Movement runs good and has good motion, but I have not checked it for timekeeping. The grade 970 is a very scarce movement with a total production of less then 2900. Serial number 340542, circa 1907. A very high grade early Hamilton movement.

Case is a yellow Gold Filled Stellar case. Case does not have Brass showing but does have some scratches and dings in the back. Case opens and closes correctly. Dial is a very nice original Hamilton bold Roman numeral dial with red five minute markers. Watch winds and sets correctly in is pendant set.
