Scarce Early Hamilton 938 2 Star Pocket Watch Great Case Mint Dial Running

  
Here is a great Hamilton 18 size 17 jewel grade 938 with a very low production of 2198 total produced. According to the book it is Railroad grade and a 2 star movement. The watch sets winds and runs, and has been keeping great time over the past 2 days. The dial is chip and hairline free, the hands are nice and blue, the crystal has a few light scratches. The case is a Fahys Montauk 20 year gold filled no brass showing that I can see and both covers screw on and off very easy.

The 938 grade was hamiltons top grade movement, it has the highest quality screws, jewels and materials. It is their highest grade 16 jewel 18 size watch and believed to be higher grade then most of their 21 jewel movements I had this listed on my other account.
