Rare Hamilton Ball 998 Elinvar 23J 16S Pocket Watch SERVICED! From my collection is a beautiful Rare Ball Hamilton, Official Standard, Grade 998 Elinvar 23J, 16S, mono-metallic balance with blued Elinvar hairspring, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, running strong and keeping excellent time. The movement is a grade 998 Hamilton for Ball.

It is 23 jewels, Official Standard, marked ELINVAR beneath the balance. Excellent spotless Single Sunk white enamel dial, housed in a beautiful factory mint gold-filled OF Ball Official Railroad Standard Case. Has the original Cobalt Blue Spade and whip steel hands, intact!

NOS "New Old Stock "Thick Glass Crystal. The 998 Elinvar had a total production of 2700 made this run quantity is 1000 and was produced between 1938 and 1940.
