I believe this to be a 1956 Model. This is a model 15 stainless steel. Stainless will last forever, no brassing or wearing through as with the plated versions.

All the desired marks are present, " Railway Special" on the dial, full Montgomery dial. Comes with the braided chain and Hamilton 992 B pouch. If you listen to Norman Blake, you will recognize the description. The usual picture of the inside works are normally taken by removing the back. This one was a special salesman's example and the back was made of glass so the internal workings could be easliy seen.
