UP for sale a SUPER RARE 800 SILVER WW2 Hamilton 4992B G. USAF Navigational 22 Jewel Watch w/ ORIGINAL Case, some minor wear on the silver case, a tiny nick on the edge, see photos, i had it running for a few days and Watch keeps overall good time, it looses about 10 seconds in 24 hours, it probably could use a tune up, original case from Hamilton. Chronometer with sweep second hand, in perfect working condition with its original metal case, 2-part carrying case. The watch is held in a snap-in metal cradle which is spring suspended within the bottom of the carrying case. The 800 silver back of the watch is inscribed as follows: AN5740, MFR'S PART NO.

H-8193, Inside the watch Serial # 4C60937, HAMILTON WATCH CO, onthe inside of the back cover marked Keystone 800 Fine Silver #K043472. Outside Carrying Case is marked :Case Carrying Watch, Navigation U. This was the Main Timepiece used by the Navigator in Bombers, The Case was mounted on the Navigators table and the watch placed inside the case. The inside of the case has a felt pad with prongs to place the watch in, and has springs to absorb any shock while in flight.
