This is a vintage Philadelphia 18 size silverode pocket watch case that is in excellent used condition. It was a normal case but I replaced the solid back with a bezel from an identical case and now it is a huge display case. It will fit a stem or lever set movement.

It has the lever slot at 2:00 [right slot]. Both the back and the bezel screw on and off easily with no cross threading. The crystals are both new.

I tried two stem set movements and they both wound and set. The case measures 2 5/16 wide. This case does not show a lot of use.

I found it in a drawer and the back was missing, so there was only way forward for it. If you want a huge heavy 18 size display case, this is your chance.

I like these better than the factory cases, those case have snap on bezels which are a real pain for lever set watches, you have to pry the bezel off to set the time! This has one of the biggest bows I have seen. This case is over 100 years old and it should last another hundred or two. Check out my other auctions. More stuff, so keep checking back.
