It is the product which a Japanese maker reproduced the model that was manufactured around Hamilton. The 1st to 3rd photos are official quotes, and the 4th photo is the actual image. Below is an excerpt from the official explanation (same as what you can read from the link above). AN5740 was reprinted as the 7th military mono watch from many military watches. Manufactured mainly by Hamilton, it was also a representative model used in WWII by the U.
Army Air Forces and the Navy Navy. The A in AN5740 comes from the Army Army and the N from the Navy Navy.
We have reprinted the AN5740 pocket watch, which is indispensable among US military navigation watches. The AN5740 was developed in the 1940s during World War II. It was used as a master watch used on land, sea and air. This product has been resized (46mm, a diameter reduced by approximately 5mm) to make it easier to use as a wristwatch.
It has also been reprinted as a battery-powered quartz watch. Unlike the black dial AN5740, this is a reprint of the dial that is said to be a "phantom" even among enthusiasts who only have a few in existence. There seems to be no doubt that it was issued to only a small number of airmen heading for long-range strategic bombing as it was very rare. By coloring the 24-hour dial in black and white, the visibility is high, and it is a character version with excellent design that allows you to intuitively grasp the morning and afternoon. It has been resized (46mm, about 5mm less in diameter) to make it easier to use as a wristwatch. The large dial makes it easy to read the time even on a 24-hour clock.
