18 size 21 jewel open face lever-set pocket watch marked Veritemps to its dial and movement. Movement is a Grade 940 and features an eye-catching and very rare wavy pattern nickel damaskeen. The Veritemps private label marking was made for retailer Hayden W.

Wheeler of Maiden Lane, New York City and this name is a clever combination of the Latin words Veritas (True) and Tempus (Time). Dial is double-sunk enamel with Arabic hour numerals. Watch is housed in a 20 year gold-filled B&B Royal case with beautiful engine turning and engraving detail to its rear. Wheeler on January 29th, 1907. Running and a beautiful movement with excellent color and luster and just some typical mild surface marks. Dial is beautiful with just some small fine scratches within its seconds-register and a small scratch and minuscule pinpoint edge nick under the case bezel near the 4 Oclock area. Case is beautiful showing hardly any wear with crisp engine turning and engraving detail.
