Hamilton Royal Navy NAVIGATION MASTER Watch c1942. The watch has been cleaned and serviced and keeps excellent time.

This pocket watch was made by the Hamilton Watch Co for the US Govt but sent to England where it was used by the Royal Navy as a primary deck watch. Movement the high grade nickel ¾ plate case has a lever escapement and a micrometer regulator. The movement has a wheel positioned on the top plate for the sweep centre seconds hand.

The movement also has a hack feature which stops the balance dead, used for synchronising watches. The movement is signed Hamilton Watch Co, USA, 3992B, 22 Jewels, US Govt, Adjusted Temp and 6 positions # 3C1691. The movement is in 95% mint condition. Case the movement comes in a staybrite metal case, which has a screw off back and front. The case has turned sides with a smooth plain finish and is in 90% mint condition a patch of light discolouration. Dial the white enamel dial has a full set of blue steel hands and is marked 1126 with a military arrow. The dial is also signed Hamilton and is in 98% mint condition some fading on one part of the inner chapter ring. The watch has a plastic glass. The watch measures 51mm x 15mm deep. The watch is stem wound / stem set.
