18 size 21 jewel open face lever-set pocket watch marked Mermod & Jaccard's St. Louis Paragon Time-Keeper to its dial and movement.

A scarce and very attractive private label watch featuring an eye-catching hourglass image to its dial and movement which gives the watch a unique appearance. Dial is double-sunk enamel with Arabic hour numerals. Watch is housed in a coin silver Baystate "Imperial" model case with floral engraving detail to its rear and with a nickel cuvette. Movement serial number is 436007. Running and a very nice looking movement with excellent color and luster and some typical mild surface marks. Dial faces up very well though with some mild flaws - some very faint hairlines in its center section, small patched edge chips under the case bezel near the 2 O'clock area, a very small flake to the lower rim of the center hole, and some areas of mild perimeter rub under the case bezel. Case shows medium wear, a ding to its band at the 3 O'clock area, some dents to the cuvette which has some play at its hinge, reduced rear engraving detail, and case rear and cuvette are opening somewhat wide of 90 degrees.
