16 size 21 jewel open face pendant-set Hayden W. Wheeler pocket watch with its original 14K gold "HWW" Hayden W. Watch is private label marked on dial and movement for retailer Davis & Hawley of Bridgeport and Waterbury, Connecticut. Rare watch with a total production of only 250 made. Movement is beautifully finished with gold jewel settings, gold center wheel, gold balance screws, and Hayden W.

Wheeler's distincitve two-finger bridge plate design and wavy pattern nickel damaskeen. Case rear is engraved with A.

" initials and its gold cuvette is engraved "From Father to A. Movement serial number is 175256. Gross weight of assembled watch is 57.7 dwt (89.8 grams). Running and a very nice looking movement with excellent color and luster. Dial faces up very well but has a few light hairlines and glaze scratches.
