Hamilton Grade 939 14k Gold Pocket Watch Two Star Rarity Only 1310 Made

  

For your consideration is an 18S, 17J Hamilton Grade 939 Pocket Watch. This watch was sent to the finishing department on August 17, 1900. This beauty is a Two Star Rarity with only 1310 total made. Watch is in working condition. The Double Sunk Dial has a small hairline and edge chip slightly past the Two.

Overall a very beautiful dial. The Hands are nicely blued. The crystal does have small scratches like a wrist watch will get from wear. Has a larger scratch going from 10 to 11 that is seen if tilted at an angle.

The Movement is a beautiful fancy nickel with Gold Lettering which Hamilton's are known for. The serial number is fairly low at 15856.

The watch is stem wind and lever set. The Hunter Case is 14K Gold and weighs 122 grams total weight. The front cover functions as it should. Front cover opens to about 92 degrees with back cover opening right at 90 degrees. Dust Cover flops into back cover.

Case appears to be original to the movement with no other screw marks evident. Back of Dust Cover marked with Geo.
