Hamilton Grade 938 Pocket Watch. 17 Jewels Open Face Movement. Lever Set and Stem Wind.

Double Sunk Hamilton Watch Co Red 5 Minute Porcelain Dial with chip at Setting Lever on edge (hidden by bezel). Hands nice with no rust. Movement winds, and sets properly with set lever.

Wound movement and set aside on back for 24 hours. Balance wheel swings with good motion and no bent shaft wobble.

Movement looks nice with no major watch repairman scratches. This is the high-grade movement with more finely finished and chamfered parts, matching gold jewel settings and gold balance screws, etc. The movement is [unmarked] with Grade Number.

Case is very nice Crescent Watch Case Company Swing Ring Yellow Gold Filled case with no personalization on the shield on rear, and moderate wear. Inner ring opens when crown is pulled. Cover stays shut when closed. Watch was recently taken out of storage from safe deposit box in climate controlled bank vault. There is no record of when Watch was last serviced.
