Hamilton Grade 937 Pocket Watch-great Hunter Case-only 8306 Made

  
For your consideration is an 18S, 17J Hamilton Grade 937 Pocket Watch. This watch was sent to the finishing department on January 26, 1898.

The watch is a Private Label. The dial is marked Louis Hanziker in Portland, Oregon. The movement is marked Belding Bros.

Watch is in working condition. The Double Sunk Dial has hairlines between the XII and I. As well as a nick there at the edge (XII and I) and another small nick edge between II and III. Compare picture with bezel and without bezel. The Dial is very nice. The Hands are Butterfly and nicely blued. The crystal is very clear with usual minor scratches from normal use. The Movement is a beautiful fancy nickel which Hamilton's are known for. The serial number is fairly low at 12965. The watch is stem wind and lever set. The Hunter Case opens and closes as it should. All three covers open right at 90 degrees.

Case appears to be original to the movement with no other screw marks evident. Case has very, very little wear with the Original Tag on the inside back cover from the Dueber Watch Case Manufacturing Company. Please continue to check back.
