This is a rare watch dating to the World War 2 Era 1940s. This winds, sets, runs well, and keeps time to within a few seconds per day. The movement has a hack set complication that stops the watch as it should. This has a very interesting bit of provenance that I found written in pencil inside the case back as shown. This was apparently used by a Lt. Peterson and he wanted to make sure it got back to him if it went missing.

This is a 16 size watch. The case is nickel plated.

The movement is a very well running Hamilton 4992B. The watch is very clean and in good cosmetic condition. The back has some minor wear to the plating but it looks fantastic. The dial is original and very clean. The dial is very nice and is depicted accurately in the pictures.
