Hamilton 992E, 16 size Pocket Watch, Extra Fine

  

All watches I will be offering are from my own collection. I just have a love for Pocket Watches.

I inherited my Grandfathers Pocket Watch years ago, which started my fascination with these mechanical marvels. He drove Bus in Richmond, VA for 40 years and used that Illinois Bunn every-day. The mainliner case shows all the wear of a well used watch but the movement still keep excellent time; I preserve it as he left it. All have been properly serviced and function as they should.

Just have them cleaned and oiled every 5 years or so and they will last to be passed on again. The timepiece offered here was last serviced in February 2017. I very much like the Model 10 cases.

They feel of high quality with smooth lines and one of the thinnest cases. This watch is in Extra-Fine condition and has no annoying functional issues. Covers screw on and off smoothly and seat flush. Crystal is Glass and in excellent condition. No chips, cracks or hairlines; Signed HAMILTON HANDS : Hamilton Heavy Railroad, Blue Spade/Whip in very good condition. Some wear at the end of the minute hand but must use a loupe to see it. (My watchmaker does an excellent job setting hands parallel to the dial - so important). If I have missed something you want to know please dont hesitate to ask.
