Hamilton 992B Railroad Grade 1955 Freedom Foundation Case Valley Forge 21J Runs

  

Hamilton 992B - 21J Railroad Grade, Stainless Steel Case - Ca: 1955. Nice condition and strong running 992B Hamilton railway special pocket watch. Movement is a high-grade movement that is adjusted to temperature and six position with gold jewel settings and timing screws.

Compensation balance and hair spring. Movement is in good running order and seems to keep time but I have not checked in over a long period. Serial number C422288 circa 1955 that matches case. A late model High grade 992B. Case is a very nice looking stainless steel case with a very interesting back specifically made for the freedom foundation Valle Forge from 1955.

A very attractive base metal stainless steel keystone case. Case is in good shape with light wear. Watch winds and sets correctly but winding is stiff. Dial is the original Hamilton railway special dial and is very nice.
