This is a great and beautiful pocket watch, Winds, Sets & Runs, keeps great time, it is a nice 992 21 jewels, Model 2, 16 size, lever set crown stem wind. Has a nice double sunk dial, Blue Spade & whip hands, NOS crystal and housed in a Wadsworth 2- Tone - Platold Case # 5779403.

Size 16 stamped HAMILTON WATCH CO. 21 JEWELS 992 ADJ 5 POSITIONS DOUBLE ROLLER MADE IN U. 2352802 Lever Set, c 1926 and super clean movement. Last fully serviced on July 26, 2021. BEAUTIFUL DOUBLE SUNK STAMPED (HAMILTON) Black Arabic & Red numerals the background, Dial is showing a few faint hairlines at the 24 & 38 Markers and one small fleabite above the 5.

Housed in a nice Wadsworth 2-Tone - Platold Case. Platold is a name used by the Wadsworth Watch Case Co. To describe its 2-tone case. S having a gold-filled center ring and a nickel back and bezel.

Other companies marketed similar 2-tone cases, perhaps the best-known being Hamilton's No. 3 case of the late 1940s. Although the catalog sheet lists the back and bezel as being stainless steel (which they may be), they're actually marked Base Metal.

The caseback is showing 2 small dimples, nothing major. Both covers glide on and off nicely.
