This Hamilton pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 49 mm). The movement is the Hamilton Model 992, adjusted to 5 positions, lever set, gold jewel settings, gold center wheel, micrometer regulator, and late style diagonal damasceening.

This movement is fully railroad grade. The dial is original, double sunk porcelain, and is excellent with two very faint hairlines in the outer chapter although there are several small edge chips completely hidden by the bezel. Hands are original and excellent. This movement is cased in a gold filled, bulldog neck RR style case marked Scepter. The case is also excellent with just a tiny hint of brass on the edges of the back and only light wear elsewhere.

This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but I do not know the history of this watch, so it may need to be serviced. In all of my auctions, the very best images are always BELOW the description.
