One of Hamilton's higher grade Railroad approved watches from the early 1940's.. Very nice nickle movement that has minimal service marks and no spotting.. Fully marked and adjusted to 6 positions... Watch runs very well, keeps time...
Balance is true in the flat and has good motion.. All screws are original, including the case screws.. Nice demaskeen pattern on the movement and winding wheels.. Enamel dial is in great condition, free of any hairlines or chips..
Very nice set of 950b Baton hour and minute hands... The gold filled Bar over Crown case is in good condition.. Covers screw on and off fine.. Rear cover has some scratching, which appears to be from use.. Bow holds position and the crown is very good..A beveled edge glass crystal is fitted to the front bezel.. Winding is very smooth as it should be and lever setting works as it should.. A nice example of a higher grade Hamilton, that has seen rail service, but not been abused.. Please ask any questions that you may have..
