Hamilton 925 17-jewel 18-size Pocket Watch, Yellow Gold Filled Case

  

This is a 18-size watch, and measures approximately 55mm (2-3/16) diameter. This watch features a gold-filled hinged back and bezel case, a 17-jewel adjusted stem-wind lever-set Grade 925 movement, and a double-sunk porcelain dial with Arabic numerals.

Note: The movement was originally designed to fit in a hunting case, since the winding stem is at the 3 o'clock position. The ornate case is in excellent condition, showing signs of occasional pocket carry and no visible brassing. The caseback depicts the image of a train. The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks and has a small chip at the one o'clock position.

The movement runs and keeps excellent time. Overall, a presentable watch that is ready to carry with pride or present as a wonderful gift to a person who appreciates fine timepieces.
