Hamilton 4992B Military 24 Hr Dial Pocket Watch-1941 WW2 Era-Pristine Condition

  
I have for sale a vintage circa 1941 World War II Hamilton military pocket watch. It is the model 4992B in the 22 jewel movement with size 16 case and 24 hour military dial. It is in pristine condition and appears to be in like new condition.

The movement is marked U. It winds, and s ets smoothly and keeps perfect time. The bow is nice and tight.

These military pocket watches were used during World War II and feature the "hack set" to synchronize other watches to the exact time including down to the second by disengaging the movement of the hands while setting the time. The outside back side of this watch has the government part number, contract number and following additional information stamped on the back. AN-5740 Mfr's Part No. I have a large collection of nice pocket watches and wrist watches but I'm beginning to thin the herd. I will be adding many others in future auctions.
