Hamilton 992, 21 Jewel Railroad Pocket Watch. This Hamilton pocket watch is 16 size (case diameter 52 mm). The case is a dustproof, swing-ring style made of nickel and in nice condition. Crystal is new and unbreakable. Dial is original, double sunk porcelain and has a single VERY faint hairline in the outer chapter.

The movement is a marked grade 992, lever set, 21 jewels, adjusted to 5 positions. Movement has gold jewel settings, gold center wheel, gold balance wheel jewels, and typical understated Hamilton damasceening.

This watch was fully railroad grade when made and for many years after. This would make a great carrying watch - these nickel cases last forever! This was made in 1925. This watch runs and keeps reasonable time, but I do not know the history of this watch, so it may need to be serviced.
