Hamilton 16S 23 Jewel Grade 950 Railroad Pocket Watch RUNS
This is a Hamilton railroad watch from a local estate. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 23 jewels, marked 950. This is a high grade movement with gold wheels, gold jewel settings, gilt lettering, and ruby & sapphire jewels. It runs strong, but has not been cleaned or timed recently.
SO I cannot guarantee it to be a completely reliable timekeeper. It is in a plain nickel case made by the Philadelphia Watch Case Company.
Case is very good, No damage or monograms. The double sunk porcelain dial is very good. It has a few small, faint edge hairlines between 4 and 5 that are not easily seen. Blued steel hands, glass crystal. A very high grade watch.
