This 18 size Hamilton pocket watch manufactured in 1913 is a model 1. The Gibraltar gold filled case is in very good condition with less than the expected surface marks and fine scratches although there are two very tiny dings to the rim. Both lids screw on and off without issue and there are no inscriptions marring its surface.

Likewise, the glass crystal is clean, clear and without notable issues offering an unobstructed view of the perfect double sunk white porcelain Montogomery dial. The gilt inlay damaskeened, stem wound and lever set, 21 jewel, double roller movement, adjusted to temperature and five positions with gold jeweled settings is a work of art and easily qualifies as one of the most attractive movements that Hamilton has ever manufactured.

As befitting its condition, this timepiece winds, sets and keeps good time although unerring accuracy is not guaranteed, nor should it be expected. As with all timepieces of this vintage, a cleaning and adjustment is always recommended.
