L isted for your consideration is a beautiful Ball-Hamilton 18 size 21 jewel open face lever set railroad pocket watch with a RARE Marked Ball numerical dial! Movement: The beautiful s u n burst Damascened movement faces up nicely but does show a few careless screwdriver scratches, please see photographs! The movement has gold screw down jewel settings and gold lettering! Markings are as follows: Trade Mark O fficial Railroad Standard, Motor Barrel, Double Roller, Adjusted 5 Positions, Ball Watch Co.

Sapphire Pallets 21 jewels, are the serial number 668547, and the balance bridge is marked Pat. The movement runs with good motion on a partial winding!

The winding and setting functions operate correctly and smoothly. Case: the movement is housed in a yellow gold filled swing ring Keystone J. This case shows no wear through to base metal. There are some imperfections from pocket wear. The bezel screws on and off easily with no cross threading.

The antique bow is tight, and the crown is sharp and exhibits little wear. Dial: This gorgeous watch is fronted by a mint condition Ball Canadian numerical dial.

This is not a true Montgomery dial, because it lacks the hour 6 in the seconds bit. This special dial faces up very well with no imperfections save for some bezel rub marks from the 4 minute mark to the 14 minute mark on the very outer edge.
