Antique Hamilton Pocket Watch 21 Jewel Model 2 Lever Set Open Face Gold Plate
We offer for your consideration this antique Hamilton pocket watch. This pocket watch is operational.
This is an antique open face Hamilton pocket watch. The watch case measures approximately 50.5mm in diameter/ 13mm in thickness, front to back. The case is a gold plate and is in very good condition. The front and back are screw set. The crystal is in very good condition.
The case has a very nice curved coin grooved edge. There are some small dents on the back case located between 12 & 3 o'clock. The dial of this watch is white porcelain enamel, double sunk, with large black arabic numerals. Along the outside the minutes are shown at the five minute intervals marked in red, with small black ticks and arabic numerals from 1 to 60.The dial is a very clean white porcelain. The spade style minute and hour hands are blued steel, the sweep seconds hand has its own dial and has a small moon shape aft end. But it will benefit from a cleaning. This watchworks is serial #1210730.
Date of manufacture approximately 1917. Jewels:21 (Ruby & Sapphire). Jewel Set: Gold Chaton Screw-set. Adjusted # of positions: 5. The case is stamped Philadelphia Watch Case Co.
