1953 Hamilton Railway Special 992B 21J 16S Pocket Watch EXCELLENT & Running

  
This is a super nice and original Hamilton from a local estate. It is 16 size, open face, stem wind, lever set, 21 jewels, serial #C387608 Circa 1953very late! The watch has a very clean movement that runs strong and seems to be keeping good time. I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it to be perfectly reliable. The white melamine dial is very nice, and also a rarer variation. It is a single-sunk Railway Special dial (not often seen). No dial damage, splits, or separations.

Excellent blued steel railroad hands. The yellow gold-filled Hamilton porthole style case is excellent. It has no brassing, no dings, no damage.

It has a nice tight bow, and excellent glass crystal. There is a 1955 engraving on the case back from a golden wedding anniversary. As the engraving is original and tastefully done it is very acceptable. This is an overall very nice and original watch that has not been carried much.
