All watches will show some wear, dings, scratches and other characteristics of an antique pocket watch that was used for it's purpose many years ago. There will generally be scratches around the indent where you open the lids. It is not recommended that you use a watch like this as an everyday watch. I also do not recommend anyone getting into the movement of the watch, if they are not experienced with working on these kinds of watches.
I will take many pictures and show any wear and blemishes, please look at them closely so you know what you are getting. This watch was cleaned and serviced in 2005, had an alloy mainspring put in and then the watch was put away in a case only to be taken out occasionally to be wound. This watch winds up, runs and keeps time.It has been tested prior to this listing. 1949 HAMILTON USA, 17 jewel, 10 size.
