1949 Hamilton 992b Railway Special Model 2

  

Hamilton Railway Special 922B Size 16 Adj temp, 6 positions, 21 jewels. Case #H964194 10K gold filled. There are several jewelers marks on the case which I have tried to capture. Used an excellent Macro lens so can't do much better at my skill level.

This is from an estate of a friend who's father worked for the railway, as did he. I have kept it wound for a few days and not noticed a variation in the time display. From what I could research, I believe it is a model 2 and was manufactured around 1947, however the information attached to the watch claimed 1902 or 1903.

Of note was the notice of a dent in the back cover. I did not notice it but the reflection does show distortion.
