1946 Hamilton 992B 21J Railroad Pocket Watch With Canadian RR Dial EXCELLENT

  

This is a very nice watch from an estate collection. It is a Hamilton, 16 size, open face, 21 jewels, stem wind, lever set, grade 992B, serial #C161663 (Circa 1946). The movement is in excellent condition. It runs strong, and seems to keep good time.

I have not had it cleaned or serviced, so I cannot guarantee it as a perfect timekeeper. The porcelain dial is excellent with no cracks or chips. It has bold black numbers, and also an inner red 24-hour ring of numbers.

Really a dramatic looking dial! The watch has bold blued steel railroad hands, and a very nice beveled glass crystal. The case is the original case for this movement. It is 10K yellow gold filled, and marked HAMILTON WATCH CO.. The case is very good. It has no damage or brassing, and no monograms. There is a touch of brassing on the edges of the pendant bow, but that is all. This is a very nice watch for the collector, or to carry.
