1937 Yankee's World Series dial plate by Hamilton Watch Co

  
FOR SALE IS THE DIAL PLATE ONLY, NOT THE WATCH. THE WATCH IS USED AS AN EXAMPLE OF THE PRINT THAT WAS USED ON THE DIAL.

This is a super rare piece of history. This is the 1937 dial plate used to make the New York Yankees World Championship watches by the Hamilton Watch Company. Here is the short story. Theo Schwalm was the manager in the dial Department for Hamilton Watch Co, then went on his own in 1948. All the dial plates from Hamilton went with him.

His company did all the work for Hamilton Watch Co from then on. This was historic to find this, as the plates from 1940's thru the 80's were given to Schwalm Inc by Hamilton and was told the pre 1940's plates were destroyed, but this plate survived with a few others I found. Makes for a great paper weight, talking piece, or can be displayed with a 1937 Yankee World Series Watch if you're lucky enough to own one.
