1920s Hamilton 916 Art Deco 14k Gold 17 Jewel Pocket Watch
Presented is a fine quality 14 kt. Gold open face pocket watch. This piece was made by the Hamilton Watch Company of Lancaster PA.
Yellow gold case is perfectly simple and sleek. The Hamilton 916 was produced between 1923 and 1928, and the serial number on the movement indicates a date of production around 1924 or 1925. The watch dial is signed Hamilton. The dial has a matte off-white finish and black Art Deco style numerals. There is a sunken subsidiary seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position. The movement itself is very clean and in excellent working condition.This watch has a 17 jewels and three position adjusted movement. The watch movement is a 916 style.
