16S BALL WALTHAM HAMILTON POCKET WATCH Gold Filled Case 21j 23j
This is a beautiful pocket watch case but not without issues. I have a dickens of a time with this back cover. There IS A SINGLE spot where you can thread it on but it takes me a while to find it. I also find that holding it horizontal and bringing the rear cover UPWARDS to engage the rear or the case with light pressure is the best way to screw it together.
It wants to jump threads when screwed on carelessly. I tell you this to let you know it can be done but can be frustrating to install the rear cover.
Otherwise I do find it to be a beautiful case. There is some pocket wear on the outside rear edge. I do love this case but I'm hoping someone with skill can clear or clean up the thread grooves on the rear side and make it "friendly". Detailed photos provided for you to assess cosmetic condition.
