16 Size Hamilton 950B 23 jewels Railway Special pocket watch, in Model A case
Very nice 16 size Hamilton Watch Co. 23 jewel grade 950B railroad pocket watch in Hamilton screw back and bezel railroad model A case by Keystone Watch Case Co. Movement serial number S5404 and case serial number K241300 date watch to 1948. The acrylic crystal is like new. The porcelain dial is very nice with two faint hairlines between 7 and 8, barely visible.
Not ling after this watch was made the dials would be melamine. Watch runs and keeps time to within a couple of minutes a day.
