16 size Hamilton Watch Co. 23 jewels Railway Special railroad pocket watch in 10K gold filled screw back and bezel Railroad Model 17 case by Keystone (as marked inside case back). Serial number S23740 dates watch to circa 1954-55 manufacture. Watch runs great and keeps time to within a minute a day. The case is in generally good condititon with little if any brassing noticed, just light wear and a few typical nicks on the bow and pendant. There is a shallow dent in the case back as seen in photo. Crystal is glass and in good shape. The main issue with watch is the original melamine dial has some long cracks-not severe at this point but they are there. That's a problem with some of these melamine dials as they age.
