The exceptionally fine and rare Lady Hamilton Grade 983 Hunting Case Style Pendant Watch has a recorded production of 2,000 watches in 1909 and an additional 4,000 in 1910. Our research indicates that approximately 10% of the total are currently known. The Grade 983 would later become the movement for the early Hamilton Men's Wristwatches of the late teens & twenties.

This exceptionally fine and rare movement looks like a high grade Swiss movement since Hamilton copied a movement made by the renowned high grade Swiss watchmaking firm of C. The highly demaskeened 17 jewel Movement is in a 25 Year Philadelphia Watch Case Co.
