Hamilton 12 size, 19-Jewel, grade 900, model 1, open face, 14-karat gold filled pocket watch. The case serial number "231156" is stamped 3 times, inside back cover, inside dust cover, and outside rim of movement case housing. The case also features a floral scroll motif around front plastic crystal and back cover edge and rim. Some plating is wearing through at lip of back cover and edges in areas around case rim.

Single-Pressed seconds dial with a stylized wreath motif single pressed ring, circling inside of Block/Script Arabic hour numerals with ring style track. The movement is highly engraved with "Gold" gear train and screw settings, adjusted 5 positions, Hamilton Lancaster, PA.

Ferris BY Spokane City Baseball League 1922, 14 years before the historic wooden ballpark Ferris Field was built and dedicated in his name. Ferris was a professional baseball player supporting himself though college and law school in this manner. From 1902-6, he played on the Spokane team during the summer months and practiced his law profession during the winter. He is listed on the team roster for the Spokane Indians in (1904 See Team Photo) & 1905 (age 25 26), and in his early 20's he played for the Rockford Illinois baseball team, near his place of birth "July 24th 1878" in Sterling Illinois.
