HAMILTON 992E AIRCRAFT NAVIGATIONAL WATCH MILITARY. HAMILTON 992 ELINVAR AIRCRAFT NAVIGATIONAL POCKET WATCH. From the late 1930s military timepiece; a total of 300 of these Grade 992 Elinvar "Aircraft Navigational Watches" were made and these were supplied by Hamilton to the U. Navy Bureau of Aeronautics during the years 1937 and 1938. It is housed in a Keystone Base Metal case with military markings.

The open face case diameter is 54.35 mm and 73.4 mm with the bow. The total weight is a 126.7 grams.

The signed black dial is in great condition. The lever set Hamilton model 992 Elinvar movement is running but has not been checked for time keeping accuracy.

We do not guarantee the time keeping of this movement. Since we do not know the service history of these time pieces, we recommend that they be serviced. This is a very RARE Hamilton 992 Elinvar military watch.
