Antique 1930 Hamilton 912 17j 12s Second Meter 14k Gold Filled Original Box

  

This is a great looking size 12s Hamilton 912 grade pocket watch with it's original box. The box is taped across the back hinge. Estimated year of production is 1930... The watch is a stem wind/stem set.

The watch will set, wind and run without issue, though it has not been serviced or timed for accuracy (thought the last time it was run over 36 hours it kept accurate time). When winding the watch, the stem must be lightly pressed down (almost like it is slightly spring loaded). I do not know if this is a feature of this particular model or if there is an problem with the stem which needs repair. The 14k gold filled case is in good condition as are the hands and dial.

The movement is clean and running. The watch has a second meter, not a sub-second hand. Total weight of the watch is 2.1 oz. Case is 2.4 oz.
