We reject the idea that vintage has to mean, rusty, scratched, dirty or untested. FABULOUS 3-STARRARE HAMILTON 992 21J "ADJUSTED FOR RAILROAD SERVICE 21 JEWELS" DIAL OF POCKET WATCH C.

While this movement is not marked, "Special", the 992 runs under 2,000,000 serial number were not always marked as such. According to NAWWC forum notes, this serial number - 1063214 is within the known "Adjusted for RR Service" ranges - just 9 away from a known brother (1063205).

The watch is a 16S, open-face, 21J jewel Hamilton 992, made in 1913. It features a great two-tone movement in nickel with gold screws, gold jewel settings, ruby and sapphire jewels, and is SW/LS. DR and adjusted 5 positions.

Super accurate watch that was recently serviced and in superb condition. Condition: The special Hamilton "Adjusted for Railroad Service 21 Jewel" marked dial is gorgeous, clean and in. Under extreme close up photo you can see a very fine glaze hairline at 1 o'clock. Under bezel at 29 minute mark there is a flea bite edge chip. This watch and dial show off incredibly well. Beautiful 2-tone checkerboard movement professionally overhauled and fully serviced on 3/27. Movement is cosmetically clean, winds and lever sets, correctly. Keeps dead-on accurate, RR standard time.

Gold-filled Fahy's Case is in excellent condition - strong relief in the engine engraving, minimal wear, case closes tightly, hinges secure and covers stop at 90 degrees, bow and crown secure.
