1942 WW II HAMILTON Model 23 US Military 19j Pocket Watch Chronometer

  

This is a vintage 1942 Hamilton US Military Chronograph Pocket Watch from WWII, chrome base metal case measures 50mm across, fine scratches on case from use, acrylic crystal, single push button crown on top to control start, stop and reset of chronograph, original military black dial marked HAMILTON with white Arabic numeral markers, white hands with center sweep chronograph hand, second hand at 6, minute register at 12, 60 minute railroad tracking on its outer chapter, with screw back cover. Case shows only minor wear, inside marked KEYSTONE BASE METAL 93309, movement marked HAMILTON 19 JEWELS ADJ TEMP & 3 POS MODEL 23. Watch is running well and appears to be keeping time, chronograph is also functioning as well, it has been running for more than 24 hrs with chronograph engaged, don't know its service history, therefore I would recommend a cleaning.
