1920s 14K Gold Hamilton 916 Pocket Watch in Working Condition. This watch was made between 1923 and 1925 as gift inscription indicates. There are some minor cosmetic issues (face has some blotchy spots) and the rim when opened has some corrosion or other issue I'm not familiar with (see close up photos). One edge of the hinge is a tiny bit'lifted' so as to feel rough, but it's not visibly deformed, even under close examination. The watch was wound and did keep time for a couple of hours while I was working with it but I expect it really should be cleaned and adjusted by a professional. The crystal is free of any deep scratches and chips but might have some very fine faint scratches that are barely perceptible. The monogram on the back is HFD with D being the last name of the original owner. I'm trying to size the movement - my caliper shows 37 mm so I'm thinking it's 8S. International Buyers - Please Note.
