18s, Hamilton 942, RR Grade Pocket Watch, from 1900. As you probably know, the 942 was a Railroad approved Hamilton. It was made featuring a double roller when the better known 940 was a single roller. Later, the 940s had double rollers as well. As a result the 942 became somewhat redundant as the 940 was more recognizable as Hamiltons RRWorkhorse.

As a result, fewer 942s were produced hence a scarcer watch. This one runs strong, looks great and has a remarkably clean movement. SN 178,964 puts production in 1900.
