16 size Hamilton 21 jewel 992b railroad model 14 pocket watch, nickel chrome cas

  

Offering from my collection a great example of Hamilton 992B 21 jewel railroad pocket watch in Hamilton railroad model 14 case. Serial number C280359 dates watch to 1949, the only time this model was offered. Nickel chrome case is fully marked inside case back, including Hamilton name. The was an attempt by Hamilton to market a lower priced railroad watch, which was replaced the following year (1950) by the successful model 15 case in stainless steel, produced until 1970. The crystal is glass and like new.

The #151 melamine numerical dial is near perfect and practically impossible to find in this conditiion. I have never had the watch serviced and it has just come out of storage, put away for years.
